TDCC President Te-Hsiang Chen was invited to attend the 15th “TWKC” launch ceremony organized by the Commercial Times.
TDCC became the first company in Taiwan to obtain the APEC Cross Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) system certification, setting a new benchmark for financial personal data protection. The certification was awarded by the Institute for Information Industry and received by TDCC President Te-Hsiang Chen.
TDCC’s eNotice platform, which provides electronic notifications for corporate dividend and ETF distribution, has surpassed 600,000 users.
The total custody market value under TDCC exceeded NT$100 trillion, including nearly NT$89 trillion in Taiwan stocks, NT$8 trillion in bonds and bills, and NT$5 trillion in cross-border custody. The total amount has reached NT$101.9 trillion, setting a historic record.
TDCC participated in the “Financial Services Charity Carnival” organized by the Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable and Tainan City Government. The booths were set up for public interaction and promotion of anti-fraud knowledge. Additionally, experts were on hand to provide professional business consulting services.
TDCC held the 2024 annual general meeting. Chairman Bing-Huei Lin stated that TDCC will uphold three major development visions: “Enhancing the Financial Assets Custody Platform,” “Leading Digital Innovation in Financial Services,” and “Promoting Sustainable Development of Financial Markets.” By leveraging the company’s core values and digital transformation, these initiatives aim to protect the financial assets of the public, improve operational efficiency in financial markets, and foster sustainable development.
TDCC held a signing ceremony for the “Cross-Border Custody Service for Sub-Brokerage.” KGI Securities became the first sub-brokerage broker to sign the agreement. Deputy Director General How-Ming Huang of the FSC Securities and Futures Bureau attended the event to witness the beginning of a new era in localization of custodial services.
Under the guidance of the FSC Securities and Futures Bureau, TDCC has integrated various ETF product information from TWSE, TPEx, and SITCA and launched the “ETF Information Hub” on Fund Clear. The platform allows investors to search and download various ETF information with just one click. This greatly enhances the convenience of obtaining information.
This year, for the first time, more than 100 companies adopted TDCC’s “eMeeting platform” for shareholders’ meetings. A total of 109 TWSE-listed, TPEX-listed, and emerging stock companies across various industries, including finance, semiconductors, and manufacturing, participated. More than 3,000 shareholders registered to participate. In addition, Oriental Securities held the last hybrid shareholders’ meeting of the year, which marked a successful conclusion to the series of meetings.
Enterprise Asia held the “2024 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA)” ceremony and International Summit in Ho Chi Minh City. TDCC won the “Green Leadership Award” under the “Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards” with the project “eNotice Platform: Effortless Dividend and ESG Commitment Together.”
The press conference for the Pension Platform, organized by TDCC and executed by FundRich Securities, was held at the Courtyard by Marriott Taipei Downtown. The “Ten Thousand People Retirement Survey” results were announced, showing an increased public awareness of retirement preparation. Investors, especially those participating in the platform’s financial projects, had higher confidence in achieving retirement preparation goals than the general public.
TDCC, in collaboration with the Formosa 3D Association, held the “Little Financial Manager: Finance for a Sustainable Future” painting competition. The award ceremony was held at the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei. TDCC President Te-Hsiang Chen led the team and presented the awards.
The 26th class of trainee prosecutors from the Academy for the Judiciary, the Ministry of Justice, visited TDCC. TDCC President Te-Hsiang Chen received them, explaining and exchanging information about TDCC’s business operations.
TDCC held the 3rd “TDCC Cup Archery Tournament” at Ren-he Junior High School in Taoyuan City. The event brought together elite students from eight junior high and elementary schools nationwide. The young archers showcased their outstanding skills, fostered friendships through archery, and injected new vitality into the Taiwan’s archery sport.
The Executive Yuan held the "2024 Government Agencies Information Security Audit" awards ceremony at the International Conference Center of National Taiwan University Hospital. The award was received by Chairman Bing-Huei Lin.
TDCC sent delegates to attend IIA International Conference held at Washington, D.C., USA.
Delegation of TDCC participated in the 24th ACG Cross Training Seminar (CTS 24) in Hong Kong, sharing TDCC’s latest developments and exchange business experience with ACG members.
