TDCC announced that it will collaborate with IBM to implement TDCC core business information system improvement plan. After a series of core business information system upgrades and improvements, the next-generation world-class TDCC core business information system is expected to be completed in 2016. In the future, this system will lead TDCC towards a new milestone on providing Taiwan capital markets with higher quality information service.

Chairman Ding Kung-Wha stated, TDCC being the market’s back office is responsible to provide stock investors and institutions with a safe, efficient, stable, and sustainable operating environment.

TDCC president Sherman Lin emphasized, after the system being upgraded, not only it will finish dispatch process two hours earlier every day, the system’s security conforms completely to the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act. In addition, the new system will enhance TDCC’s ability to quickly respond to market development capacity, multiply increase data processing performance and reduce data search and processing time as well.
