After co-hosting the parent-child care activities with the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families at the beginning of this year and making donations to the "Little Artists Training Program" of Shihding elementary school in New Taipei City at the middle of this year, TDCC has continuously and actively involved in social welfare activities. Recently, the company made a donation for the program of Taiwan Kanner Syndrome Foundation to establish "Kanner Syndrome Support Center" as well. It is the hope to provide integrated and comprehensive supporting services to Kanner syndrome individuals and their families through a combination of multi-professional teams of medical care, special education and social welfare. The main objectives of the Kanner Syndrome Support Center are providing services to Kanner syndrome individuals and their families, promoting the lifelong plan on the parental education and lifetime parenting for Kanner syndrome individuals and their families, and providing relevant medical counsel services. The abovementioned services and promotions will support Kanner syndrome individuals with adaptation of community life.

After the establishment of the support center, the Kanner syndrome individuals’ difficulties of receiving medical treatments will be eased. It is actually a comprehensive resources hub which combines professional medical care, family education (including employment, schooling and long-term care), and volunteers system (including labor administration resources, social affairs resources and health resources).

In the future, TDCC will continue to hold a series of social welfare events. Through these events, we hope to make an appeal to more organizations to support our society with more enthusiasm, donate whatever they can and fulfill their corporate social responsibilities.
