To let students have further understanding of the program features and enrollment information, Securities and Futures Institute, the organizer, has sent admission guides to all the universities and designated specialized section and contact window to process registration. In addition, Securities and Futures Institute will hold admission seminars at eight universities, inclusive of National Taipei University, Chihlee University of Technology, Ling Tung University, National Taichung University of Science and Technology, National Formosa University, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, I-Shou University, and National Dong Hwa University. According to Chairman and CEO of TDCC, Sherman Lin, TDCC has always cherished the goal of market sustainability and the notion of “Take from society, contribute to society.” The company has been actively participating in social charity events to realize corporate care concepts and financial education promotion. Since 2015, TDCC has invited concerned organizations to organize Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program. The program has been administered by Securities and Futures Institute and offers a series of specialized financial training courses to university students in need of funding due to domestic economic reasons. The program guides students to pass exams for professional licenses and strengthens their competitive advantages for future employment. After the program ends, job placement will be provided in the hope of improving economic conditions of those students. The program has been implemented for three school years with fruitful achievements and won widespread praise from society. In the expectation of every circle, TDCC therefore proceeds to hold the charity program.

Chairman Sherman Lin pointed out that for students whose family needs financial support, academic achievement is the key to improving domestic economy. However, most of the students need to work part-time to pay for tuition or home on their own, which may have a negative influence on their academic performance or future career choice. Hence, the Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program not only focuses on financial talent development but also incorporates charity and education; the program aims to enable students to successfully enter the job market with the skills and knowledge acquired from the program.

The fourth annual Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program of 2018 plans to enroll 600 graduates with financially-challenged family background. The training took place from September 2018 to March 2019, offering all the classes on weekends, totaling 170 hours. To allow trainees to have the fullest concentration, the organizer offers lunch, textbooks, handouts, allowances for living expenses and test registration fee. In addition, there is a learning and career reward system to improve learning result and encourage trainees to actively apply for jobs.

In the upcoming school year, finance, securities and futures, and other related organizations as well as core course universities will cooperate closely. This innovation of promoting financial talent development through charity will assist university students in need to flip their lives and fulfill their financial goals.
