FSC Chair Launches ReLife Project—A Retirement Investment Plan for All and Becomes the First Participant!

The ReLife Project—A Retirement Investment Plan for All, purposed by Wellington L. Koo, Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), advised by Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Association (SITCA), Securities and Futures Institute (SFI), and Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC), as well as organized by FundRich, officially starts the preregistration! The project is endorsed by Koo, who personally attended the project announcement ceremony. The advisors and organizer jointly revealed six features of the project: all inclusive, dollar-cost averaging, expert selection, free of fees, low management charges, as well as limited registration time and provided only by FundRich. Koo pressed the register button in the ceremony and became the first participant. He demonstrated to the public that when it came to retirement preparation, the earlier the better.

In the press conference, the official name of the project was announced: ReLife Project—A Retirement Investment Plan for All. The project centering around retirement preparation for all, which promotes dollar-cost averaging and long-term investment concepts. The registration was officially launched in the press conference. According to FundRich, the project was named ReLife because it reflects the feelings and thoughts of employees since in Chinese, ReLife sounds like “I really want to retire.” The project hopes that investors can formulate their retirement plans earlier and can actually enjoy their retirement lives in the future. In the press conference, Koo reiterated the importance of financial management education and completed the registration on the spot. FundRich also announced the official commencement of the project.
According to Sherman Lin, Chairman of TDCC and FundRich, the project has invited experts of different fields from the industry, government, and academia to form an advisory panel which partners with international consulting teams. Allianz Global Investors, Cathay Securities Investment Trust, and Capital Investment Trust Corporation were selected in the two-stage one-month selection process to help establish a retirement fund for investors. With the promotion of the project, the teams hope to convey correct investment concepts and the ideas to plan for retirement earlier.
