At the end of the year, hospitals in Taiwan are usually facing deficient blood supply. To fulfill its social responsibility, Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) has held blood donation events for nine years in a row. This year (2018), the event fell on December 21. The event encouraged TDCC employees to donate their blood and invited other companies in the same building to join the event. In the end, the event has collected 10,000 bags of blood to Taipei Blood Center. The blood donation event had a satisfactory conclusion with popular participation. 220 bags of blood with over 55,000c.c. of blood were collected, creating a warm current in the bitter winter.

TDCC believes that it is good to “donate blood in time and never hesitate to share your kind heart.” It is simple and healthy to donate blood and help others. The donor can not only spread their kindness via blood to patients who really need the blood, but they can also get healthier by having better metabolism and immune systems. It’s an act with multiple benefits. To save a life at a critical moment is especially meaningful. TDCC has organized blood donation events for nine years in a row. Till now, over 90,000 bags of blood with over 390,000c.c. of blood have been donated. Taipei Blood Center speaks highly of and is grateful to TDCC for their kind gesture.

On the same day, TDCC also held money and Taiwanese invoice donation activities. Organized by the TDCC Kind Heart Club and supported by the TDCC employees, over NT$400,000 were donated. The donation will go to charitable organizations such as Changhua County Autism Kanner Parent Association, ANDREW Charity Association/Food Bank, ROC Autism Foundation, Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, and Huashan Social Welfare Foundation. TDCC hopes more underprivileged groups can feel the care and warmth from enterprises.

Since TDCC was founded 29 years ago, it has been providing various back-office services.
