To celebrate the company’s 29 th Anniversary, promote healthful recreation, and improve rapport, TDCC held a charitable garden party at JingXing Junior High School in WenShan District on Saturday November 17 th. In addition to a charity sale from eight charitable organizations including R.O.C Visually Impaired Love Association, a hike along Xianjiyan Hiking Trail was also held at the same time. All proceeds from the charity sale went to eleven charitable organizations such as R.O.C Visually Impaired Love Association, with the amount totaling NTD$ 1.85 million. The event again showed TDCC’s upmost effort in corporate social responsibilities and tremendous spirit for charity.

From 1989 to now, TDCC’s business has expanded to five core ones: equity securities, funds, stock affairs, fixed income securities, and IT. In recent years, the company has strived to develop diversified businesses as well as financial innovation, along with extended areas of B2B2C and B2C. In addition, the company has offered quality services containing e-voting platform for shareholders’ meetings, mobile passbook, anti-money laundering, fund platform, and data analysis. As pursuing business innovation and diversified development, TDCC also keeps the principle of “Take from society, give back to society” and has put constant effort into social care and charitable events, including Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for University Students, donation to financial service education public funds, sponsorship of many schools’ education guidance programs for students in need and Eden Social Welfare Foundation’s “Fitness Classroom Program for Seniors,” and organization of parent-child care programs with Taiwan Fund for Children and Families of different locations.

This year, TDCC has extended its care to the art and literary field, supporting the promotion of local traditional art. The company has invited clients to appreciate “Red Box,” the documentary on the legendary figure, the puppetry master Xi-Huang Chen. National art competition “Brainstorming, Contemporary Art Award” was also held to encourage young student artists and develop all citizens’ everyday aesthetics. In addition, TDCC has long been promoting employees’ habit of regular exercise and this year’s hike was held at Xianjiyan Hiking Trail; hiking is one of the means to improve employees’ healthy lifestyle and to realize one of the corporate social responsibilities as employee care. TDCC’s enthusiasm for sports has also extended to sponsorship of sports teams of elementary and high schools recommended by Sports Administration, MOE and local governments.

At the anniversary celebration, TDCC showed support and care for minorities with firm action. At the garden party, there were booths from eight charitable organizations: The Garden of Hope Foundation, Taipei Autism Children Social Welfare Foundation, Yu-Chang Social Welfare Foundation, Victory Social Welfare Foundation, Mental and Physical Potential disability Center, Kanner Support Group, Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C., Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation, Visually Impaired Association R.O.C,. The charity sale and garden party were bustling with noise and excitement; all the charity products were sold out and the events ended successfully. TDCC once again puts into practice its corporate care and social responsibilities through tangible actions and this obviously represents the pursuit of a better society.
