To fully execute corporate social responsibilities, TDCC has been holding charitable blood donation campaigns for ten years. As this year celebrates TDCC’s 30th anniversary, the expanded charitable blood drive took place on November 22nd, with TDCC personnel inviting employees from other companies in the same office building to take part in the blood drive and charity sale; meanwhile, TDCC also donated 10,000 blood bags to Taipei Blood Center. Thanks to everyone’s enthusiastic participation, the blood drive came to a successful end, with 226 bags of blood donated, totaling 56,500 cc of blood and NTD$240,000 from the charity sale. The benevolent hearts indeed spread love and alleviated the blood shortage that happens every year.

TDCC had invited staff from the corporations in the same building, including American Express, National Credit Card Center of R.O.C., Allianz Global Investors, First Bank, American Express Global Business Travel, CTBC Bank to participate in the campaign. On the day of the blood drive and charity sale, all the participants were actively engaged, rolled up their sleeves for blood donation, and contributed generously. The active participationshowed that corporations cared for underprivileged groups through love and actual action. Charitable groups that set up booths for the charity sale included Taiwan Foundation for the Blind, Children Are Us Foundation, Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C., Yu-Chang Social Welfare Foundation, the Garden of Hope Foundation, Taipei Autism Children Social Welfare Foundation, Victory Social Welfare Foundation, Kanner Foundation of Taiwan, and Eden Social Welfare Foundation.

TDCC has been organizing blood donation campaign for ten consecutive years, and up to now there have been 100,000 empty blood bags donated, 1,964 times of donation, and 490,000 cc of blood. TDCC has been acclaimed for the contribution to the activities.

TDCC also held charity fundraising and collection of receipts on the same day. With the enthusiastic appeal of TDCC’s charity club and long-term support from the management, NTD 500,000 was raised on this one single day, and the total amount was then donated to Zhang Hua County Autism Kanner Parents Association, Andrew Charity Association, Autism Foundation R.O.C., Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, and Huashan Social Welfare Foundation, allowing more and more underprivileged people to feel the benevolence and care from society.

Also, “Family Day” took place the other day. In addition to employees taking their family to the event, the retirees were also invited. There was a series of family activities as well as programs for celebration; valuable historic photos over the past three decades were displayed and made into a retrospective video, covering the company’s start from the central depository and book-entry function to the current status of capital market hub with diversified services. The company now connects with the world and has elevated Taiwan’s capital market. All the details in the video evoked the memory of every TDCC employee, making the atmosphere warm and lively.

According to President of TDCC, Mr. Chu Han-Chiang , the company has been making effort to create value for all the stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, contractors, customers, and communities, to achieve a win-win situation. The company has also been vigorously putting into practice the ideal of the friendly workplace and pursuing positive sustainable development.
