2023/07/04
On June 30th, Enterprise Asia held the 13th "2023 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA)" ceremony and international summit in Phnom Penh. TDCC was honored with the "AREA - Green Leadership Award" for its "TDCC ePassbook App: Integrated Securities and Monetary Information, Exploring New Investment Opportunities." This award recognizes TDCC as a company with green values and culture, and it has received high praise from the international professional judging panel.
The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards, established by the Enterprise Asia, not only represents the most esteemed and competitive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards in Asia but also garners significant attention from international institutions. TDCC participated in this year's event with its "TDCC ePassbook App" and stood out among other competitors after undergoing a rigorous process, including written reviews, interviews, and expert evaluations by the Enterprise Asia. This marks the fourth consecutive year that TDCC has been recognized, a true honor indeed.
Te-Hsiang Chen, President of TDCC, expressed that with the support and guidance of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), TDCC has utilized financial technology and big data to launch a variety of digital innovative services, including the TDCC ePassbook App, ESG Investor Relations Platform, Securities and Futures Industry ESG Execution Information System, AML/CFT Screening Platform, and Company Transparency Platform. In recent years, TDCC has actively developed digital services for shareholders, including eVoting, eMeeting, and eNotice, contributing to its significant social impact and promoting a green and innovative economy.
Since its launch, the TDCC ePassbook App has grown rapidly, attracting over 4 million users. This clearly demonstrates the market trend of "digital, online, and counter-free" and the widespread recognition of the core concept of sustainable finance among investors. The TDCC ePassbook App provides a comprehensive digital service that integrates all assets. Investors can simply log in to check stocks, ETFs, funds, and other asset holdings. Furthermore, once investors complete the linkages with the top 15 domestic banks and Chunghwa Post, they can view their deposit balances and transaction details at these 16 financial institutions. To further enhance the service, TDCC has recently added a dividend payment push function called eNotice. If investors agree to receive electronic notification services and the issuing companies of the securities they hold have entrusted TDCC to send electronic notifications, they will no longer need to receive a large number of paper notifications. Instead, they can quickly receive dividend payment notifications through their mobile phones, providing them with convenient digital services.
President Chen emphasized that as a major backend player in Taiwan's financial market, TDCC is committed to its development vision of "innovation," "resilience," "sustainability," and " inclusive financing." By launching paperless digital services such as the TDCC ePassbook App, TDCC helps the market significantly reduce carbon emissions. In the future, it will continue to strengthen sustainable development and establish partnerships with global relevant organizations and institutions to jointly practice ESG sustainability principles.
