TDCC's Wholehearted Commitment to Arts and Culture Recognized with the Prestigious Arts & Business Awards from the Ministry of Culture

Mr. Eric Hsu expressed that TDCC has long been committed to ESG and, since 2017, has extended its involvement to the cultural and artistic realm, actively supporting artistic creation. Through collaboration with the cultural sector and artistic enterprises, TDCC aims to enhance the balanced development of humanities and contribute to building a resilient artistic environment in Taiwan.

The Ministry of Culture organizes the "Arts & Business Awards" every two years since 1998 to recognize enterprises, groups, and individuals that have made significant contributions to the maintenance and promotion of Taiwan's artistic and cultural heritage. The awards aim to bring together governmental and private efforts to create an innovative and creative cultural and artistic environment, fostering a high-quality cultural atmosphere.

TDCC has been actively involved in various initiatives to promote diverse artistic development in Taiwan. Collaborating with the Cloud Gate Foundation, TDCC supports arts education outreach programs, providing students in remote areas with exposure to performing arts and the enchanting world of theater and dance. Additionally, TDCC organizes the "TDCC Contemporary Art Awards," providing a platform for young domestic artists to showcase their talents and contribute to the diverse development of contemporary art. Financial support is also extended to projects such as the National Theater & Concert Hall's Young Entrepreneurs and Retirees Program and sponsorship of the Academy of Taiwan Strings’ Concert for Children in Remote Areas, bringing the aesthetics of music into the lives of children, thus bridging the cultural gap between urban and rural areas.

Receiving the Arts & Business Awards once again is not only a significant recognition for TDCC but also injects new vitality into Taiwan's cultural and artistic development. TDCC remains committed to its passion, fostering a fertile ground for the arts through interdisciplinary collaboration and continuing to contribute to the development of humanities, ensuring that aesthetic culture takes deep root in the hearts of the people.
