Bond ETF Conditional Transactions – a new investment option

The various ETFs have become vigorously active in recent years, accounting roughly about 10% for the total market volume. The underlying includes domestic stocks, international stocks, gold trades, oil markets and bonds. In addition to the transactions at over-the-counter and exchange market, transactions for Bond ETF Conditional Transactions at brokers are now available for investors. In accordance with the planning of this trading by Taipei Exchange, TDCC is going to provide this new Bond ETF Conditional Transactions to brokers and individual investors with the revised regulatory frameworks and develope information systems through the existing transaction connection, and the processes are very similar to those of convertible bonds. TDCC will register those Conditional Transactions to the investors’ Depository & Clearing accounts accordingly upon the notifications of transaction completion from Taipei Exchange and the release proclamation from brokers, so that investors’ rights can be fully secured.
