Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for University Students Commences, Flipping Students’ Future and Fulfilling Their Financial Goal

2017/09/17

The third (School year of 2017) Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for University Students started simultaneously in eight universities in northern, central, southern and eastern areas around the island on September 17, 2017, with 616 new graduates from 48 colleges and universities participating.

In response to Financial Supervisory Commission’s efforts in realizing Corporate Social Responsibilities and the idea of encouraging financial industry to engage in charity, since 2015, TDCC has invited concerned organizations in fields of finance, securities, and futures to organize “Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for University Students.” The plan offers universities students in need a series of professional financial training courses and assists them in passing examinations and acquiring professional licenses in order to strengthen their competitive advantages at work. Job placement is also provided after the program ends. The program has been widely praised and the results have also been remarkable.

The third (School year of 2017) Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for University Students lasts from September 2017 to March 2018. The entire program takes place on weekends and amounts to 170 hours. In the new school year, concerned securities institutes cooperate closely with core schools to maximize the effects of financial pre-employment training and realize the original intention of the charity program—flipping life and fulfilling financial dream.
