Boundless Love for Charity - 28th Anniversary of TDCC

To celebrate TDCC’s 28th anniversary, the company held a charitable garden party at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on November 14, 2017. While commemorating the company’s establishment, TDCC again showed fulfillment of its corporate responsibilities and unlimited benevolence for charity. At the party, there were charitable groups selling products and giving live performances; over a hundred of children from Taiwan Fund for Children and Families were also invited; McDonald’s Taiwan also sponsored one hundred meals. All the proceeds of the day were contributed to Visually Impaired Association R.O.C. and other 11 charities, and the sum of all the proceeds and donations amounted to 1,630,000, demonstrating the extension of love and care.
As Chairman & CEO Sherman Lin stated at the opening remarks, TDCC has been striving for innovation in the past 28 years. Besides all plentiful accomplishments in diversified business developments, the company also showed gratitude by holding social care events on the basis of “Whatever you take from the society, use them for the society.” TDCC has held Pre-Employment Financial Charity Program for university students and contributed to financial service industry fund for education, innovation and venture capital, and “The Elderly’s Fitness Classroom Program” of Eden Foundation. Besides, the company has held blood donation campaign for many years, sponsored Shiding Elementary School’s “Young Cultural and Creative Expert” program, sports team from high schools and elementary schools recommended by Sport Administration, MOE and local governments. The company also cooperated and held parent-child care campaigns with different local Taiwan Funds for Children and Families.
Celebrating the 28th anniversary, TDCC has never forgotten to extend care and support for minority groups through solid action. At the garden party, there were 10 stands from different charitable groups: The Garden of Hope Foundation, Taipei Autism Children Social Welfare Foundation, Spring Sunshine Center for Intellectual Development, Chung-Hua Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, Yu-Chang Social Welfare Foundation, Mental and Physical Potential disability Center, Victory Social Welfare Foundation, Kanner Support Group, Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C., Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation, Visually Impaired Association R.O.C,. Students from Shiding Elementary School in New Taipei City, Chunghua Elementary School and Sikou Elementary school in Hualien County, which received long-term sponsorship of TDCC, put on engaging performances to make the celebration even more merrier.
During the last 28 years, TDCC has been providing diverse back-office services to maintain smooth market operation and fortify investors’ rights. Each of the service has won approval and compliment from securities companies, note companies, custodian banks and issuers. Chairman & CEO of TDCC, Sherman Lin, expected personnel of TDCC to make the most of the core value of back-office institute, take the initiative to create additional services, provide dynamic, innovative and sophisticated services to create stronger competitive advantage of the local market. Meanwhile, TDCC will maintain its social duty and value, actively participate in charitable events, and perform its corporate social responsibilities.
