TDCC made a joint announcement with Taiwan Securities Association on May 13 about a lucky draw campaign for the upgraded e-Passbook application. All investors are invited to check out the new features of the application and they may win some wonderful prizes.
TDCC Chairman & CEO Sherman Lin said the e-Passbook has to date accumulated more than 2.3mn users, and its innovative functions have been well received by securities and mutual fund investors. In order to provide better services to investors, TDCC has worked with six local banks to launch among others an all-in-one account statement function, which many investors have requested and is now finally available on the application. To promote the newly added functions, TDCC organized a lucky draw campaign in collaboration with Taiwan Securities Association. The lucky draw campaign runs from May 13 to June 30 with four categories of eligibility: (1) new account activation; (2) introduction to a friend; (3) login everyday; and (4) every 50,000th lucky user, for prizes including a Gogoro e-scooter, an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Switch game consoles. Investors are encouraged to try as many of the new services of e-Passbook as possible to increase their chances of winning the prizes.
Given the Financial Supervisory Commission’s policy, TDCC had worked with First Bank, Hua Nan Bank, Cathay United Bank, Mega Bank, Yuanta Bank, CTBC Bank and Taiwan Cooperative Bank in launching an open banking consumer enquiry service, which is embodied in TDCC’s e-Passbook application to allow an overview of statement across different banks.
TDCC Chairman & CEO Sherman Lin also said that the company has remained committed to providing all kinds of innovative financial services and will continue to value to feedback of all stakeholders to better serve the needs of e-Passbook users. The new all-on-one account statement function represents an expansion of the application’s account management services, which are convenient and safe to use. TDCC will seek to include more local banks in the future. The services on e-Passbook are designed to help investors manage their stock and cash accounts, as well as asset allocation in a more efficient manner.
Given an escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan, TDCC President Zhu Han-qiang said investors that are still using a physical passbook are advised to request an e-passbook from the brokerage they trade with. TDCC’s e-Passbook application allows users to view their account balances, and can send push messages to remind users of upcoming corporate actions, so that they don’t need to go to a physical counter to ask for services, reducing the risks of being infected. As the peak season of shareholder meetings has arrived, President Zhu noted that users can also exercise their rights as shareholders by voting online via the e-Passbook application.
Investors may apply for an e-passbook and try the new e-Passbook application immediately to be eligible for the lucky draw. For more information about the campaign, please visit the e-Passobook website at https://epassbook.tdcc.com.tw/
