As the new semester has started, TDCC has also promoted public welfare for education. After sponsoring two schools, Lyudao Primary School and Da Wang primary School in Taitung County, TDCC also contributed NT$ 3 million to six schools in Taitung County: Bin Mao Junior High School, Da Wang Junior High School, Chang Ping Junior High School, Rui-Yuan Junior High School, Bausun Junior High School, and Chih Shang Junior High School. The contribution aims to optimize the quality of after-school lessons, art, sports, and teaching environment of these six schools. Zheng-Hong Lin, Head of the Taitung County Government Education Department, led the eight school principals to visit TDCC and presented the certificate of appreciation on the 17th. The visit was to show gratitude for the contribution that has helped elevate the quality of education, offered students a better environment to grow up in, and provided them with more opportunities to develop.

According to the Department Head, Zheng-Hong Lin, he is a local of Green Island; being aware of the lack of resources in remote areas and the importance of education, he returned to his hometown right after graduating from graduate school. This time, he was thankful for TDCC’s sponsorship of the six schools of critical development in Taitung Country. He expects that the funds from this project will help strengthen diverse learning and expand students’ views so that they can develop according to their own talents, dare to dream big, and put their ideals into practice with courage.

In addition, since the school year of 2016, TDCC has been sponsoring the training and development of the badminton team of Lyudao Primary School. The principal, Guang-Hua Zhao, emphasizes that he appreciates the long-term resources that TDCC devotes. The contribution of TDCC does help the school’s badminton training to continue without worries, and there has been a remarkable improvement in the training results. What’s more, four players are training to become professional athletes. Thanks to the long-term support, all of the achievements are made possible.

Han-Chiang Chu, TDCC Chairman, indicates that TDCC has been implementing financial inclusion promoted by the FSC for a long time. Taking advantage of its core business resources, TDCC has been focusing on educational development in remote areas and sponsoring projects such as “Financial Literacy Promotion” and “One School, One Care.” In this way, the learning environment and the studying quality of students in remote areas can undergo an overall improvement. This time, as TDCC devotes educational resources to the schools in Taitung County, the company hopes to incorporate the collective efforts from corporate resources and civil groups. Through dynamic cultivation, including reading, music, scouting, and marine research, each student can explore the world of endless possibilities with their hopes lit up. In the future, with interests and enthusiasm combined, students can chase their dreams bravely and shine in different professions.
