TDCC's Electronic Dividend Notification Service Goes Live - Agree to Receive Electronic Notifications and Win TDCC Prizes worth Millions
2023/06/30
To align with Taiwan's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, TDCC has developed the eNotice platform for shareholder electronic notifications. The platform officially launched on 7 pm, June 30, 2023, under the guidance of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), providing electronic notification services for dividend distributions by listed, OTC, and emerging companies. Currently, over 570 issuing companies have signed contracts with TDCC to use the eNotice platform, demonstrating their support for government policies and recognition of the digital needs of shareholders in the new era.
The second half of each year is the peak period for dividend distributions by issuing companies. Previously, investors would receive numerous physical dividend notification letters. Now, by logging into the eNotice platform, registering, and activating electronic services, and with the issuing companies entrusting TDCC to handle electronic dividend notifications, investors can receive electronic notifications via email and the TDCC e-Passbook app. This fully embraces energy-saving and carbon reduction initiatives while providing convenient services through digital technology.
To encourage more investors to adopt the eNotice service, TDCC is organizing a registration lottery event. From 7pm, June 30 to September 30, investors can participate in multiple prize draws, including the "Early Bird Coffee," "Abundant Weekly Prizes," "Monthly Grand Prizes," and "Surprise Giveaway." Investors can easily register and agree to receive eNotice services through the TDCC e-Passbook app, securities firm apps, or by directly logging into the shareholder e-services platform. The prizes include over 60,000 rewards such as convenience store coffee vouchers, electronic vouchers, and postal vouchers, with a top prize of NT$200,000 and a total prize pool exceeding NT$10 million. The earlier investors agree to receive the service, the higher their chances of winning. Investors are encouraged to seize this opportunity and participate.
Bing-Huei Lin, Chairman of TDCC, stated that TDCC is continuously developing digital services for shareholder services, including eVoting, eMeeting (virtual shareholder meetings), and eNotice. These efforts aim to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for digital shareholder services. With the launch of the eNotice platform, TDCC aims to enhance the efficiency of receiving shareholder-related information for both issuing companies and investors, promote overall digital development in the securities market, and actively practice ESG sustainability principles.
