The FSC recently hosted the "14th Taipei Corporate Governance Forum," which brought together renowned speakers from both domestic and international arenas. The forum facilitated discussions and exchanges on hot topics of global capital markets, including sustainable information, sustainable investments, and the implementation of sustainable development. Nearly a thousand participants attended, TDCC invited representatives from 11 organizations, including Asia-Pacific depository and clearing institutions, Asian securities industry and financial market associations, and ESG consulting firms, totaling 23 representatives.
Following the forum, Branch Director from VSDC, Mrs. Nguyet Nguyen Thi Minh; KSEI, President Director Mr. Samsul Hidayat; MSCC, CEO Ms. Erdenegerel Ochir; and CDSC, CEO Mr. Purna Prasad Acharya, separately visited TDCC to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as international CSD services trends and innovative business development.
Since assuming office in June of this year, Chairman Bing-Huei Lin has been actively promoting various innovative financial services. This includes the official launch of the Onshore Fund Centralized Settlement System, which fosters the transformation and upgrading of the fund market. TDCC has also engaged in Open-securities, which develops the financial industry's data ecosystem. Additionally, TDCC has introduced the e-Notice service, establishing a comprehensive digital service ecosystem for shareholder services. These initiatives are gradually realizing TDCC's vision of innovation, resilience, sustainability, and inclusive finance.
To stay familiar with the most recent changes of the international market developments, TDCC actively engages in mutual exchange and cooperation with global CSD organizations and institutions. This aims to promote TDCC's successful experience in digital transformation, enhancing Taiwan's capital market's international visibility and competitiveness.
