As the Investor Services Task Force convener at Asia-Pacific CSD Group (ACG), Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) jointly organized the "2024 Asia Fund Standardization Forum (AFSF) and Investor Services Task Force (ISTF) Joint Workshop" with Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) and Korea Securities Depository (KSD). The event successfully ended on a high note on February 22nd in Indonesia. The four-day workshop attracted nearly 80 representatives from 26 institutions. In addition to ACG member organizations, entities such as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) from the United States, international central securities depositories Clearstream and Euroclear, Indonesian regulatory authority and stock exchange, custodian banks, and technology-enabled solution providers also attended this workshop, yielding fruitful international cooperation and exchange outcomes.

In response to global sustainable development trends, this year's ACG Investor Services Task Force Workshop focused on "Sustainability - What CSDs Can Do to Facilitate a Better Fund Environment for Investors." TDCC shared its achievements in the Taiwan’s fund market during the event, including the provision of diverse and convenient fund ecosystem services, integration of fund asset functions of ePASSBOOK App and shareholder e-services for fund beneficial owners, showcasing Taiwan's innovative and sustainable development achievements on the international stage.

The Investor Services Task Force workshop also featured keynote speeches and experience sharing from global leading fund network company Calastone and central securities depositories from Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam. The shared sustainability topics covered digital advantages, the development of ESG fund markets, and facilitation of a sustainable fund environment through KYC platforms and integrated investor digital services, fostering a lively atmosphere of opinion exchange.

Since assuming the role of convener of the ACG Investor Services Task Force in 2018, TDCC has continually endeavored to establish an investor services exchange platform among ACG members by organizing ISTF workshops, conducting thematic surveys and analysis, and issuing ISTF online bulletins. Through information exchange and experience sharing, TDCC aims to expand cooperation opportunities, promote mutual prosperity in the Asia-Pacific central depository industry, and actively demonstrate Taiwan's diverse growth momentum in the capital market. In the future, TDCC will continue to engage in international cooperation and exchange, share experiences in sustainable finance development, and enhance the global visibility of Taiwan's capital market.
