ETFs are gaining popularity, with the TDCC ETF eNotice ensuring investors won't miss dividend distribution information

2024/04/03

The TDCC introduced the ETF eNotice service on March 15th, and within two weeks, nearly 50,000 new investors joined the platform, pushing the total number of participants to over 470,000.

In recent years, investing in ETFs has become a widespread trend. According to Securities Holding Range Table compiled by TDCC, the number of ETF beneficiaries has surpassed tens of millions. Dividend-paying ETFs are particularly favored, with Securities Investment Trust firms launching "monthly distribution" ETFs. As a result, the ETF eNotice service has been widely welcomed by investors, reducing frequent paper-based income distributions notifications.

To enhance service efficiency, 15 out of 17 ETF issuers have signed contracts with the TDCC. The first batch includes 22 ETFs with income distributions in March, such as those from Capital Investment Trust Corporation, CTBC Investment Trust, Cathay Securities Investment Trust, UOB Asset Management, Shin Kong Investment Trust and Sinopac Securities Investment starting electronic notifications from April 3rd. For instance, Capital Tip Customized Taiwan Select High Dividend ETF (00919), which has approximately 690,000 beneficiaries, has sent electronic notifications on April 3rd, with nearly 90,000 beneficiaries opting for eNotice.

Investors can enter TDCC's Stockservice via the TDCC ePassbook app or securities firm apps, choose the eNotice Platform, and check the schedule of dividend distribution electronic notifications for their stocks or ETFs. From March 15th to June 30th, both new and existing customers are eligible for prize draws and other incentives. For more details on the prize draw, please visit the Stockservice website.
