TDCC hosted the "3rd TDCC Cup Archery Tournament," which successfully concluded on July 6th at Ren He Junior High School in Taoyuan City. This event brought together participants from 8 schools across the nation. Athletes competed vigorously throughout the day, showcasing not only their exceptional skills but also fostering the growth of grassroots archery. This tournament injected new vitality into Taiwan's archery scene.

This year's tournament featured participants from junior high and elementary schools across northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan. Highlights include Szu Chen Junior High School in Taichung winning the boys' team event and Fuli Junior High School in Hsinchu securing the girls' title. Fuli Junior High School also excelled in the mixed doubles event. In the elementary school category, Jian Ching Elementary School in Hualien claimed victory in the boys' team event, while Dong Ao Elementary School in Yilan won the girls' team title and triumphed in the mixed doubles category.

Chairman Bing-Huei Lin of TDCC praised the tournament, emphasizing that archery is not only suitable for the physical development of our people but also a key medal-winning sport for our country. Chairman Lin highlighted the remarkable achievements of the Chinese Taipei archery team in past Olympics and their full qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics, attributing these successes to the dedication of athletes, the hard work of coaching staff, and support from corporations. He further stressed that the sustainable development of archery depends on nurturing young athletes, expressing hopes that through TDCC's continued support, underprivileged students in rural area will be able to excel in archery and achieve their dreams.

Since 2016, TDCC has been supporting grassroots sports development as part of its commitment to financial philanthropy. It has donated to archery training programs at Ren He Junior High School in Taoyuan, Szu Chen Junior High School in Taichung, Fong Si Junior High School in Kaohsiung, Fuli Junior High School in Hsinchu, Ji An Elementary School and Jian Ching Elementary School in Hualien, Hsiang Shan primary School in Hsinchu, and Dong Ao Elementary School in Yilan. This support aims to facilitate systematic training and stable growth in archery, providing young athletes with quality equipment through tournaments to gain practical experience and enhance future achievements.
