TDCC Establishes SITE Services Department to Assist the Implementation of Internal Control and Internal Audit Systems of Securities Investment Trust Enterprises

With the support and guidance of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) officially established its "SITE Services Department" on March 14, 2025. This department is responsible for the review of fund public offering cases and audits and providing guidance for the Securities Investment Trust Enterprises to help the FSC supervise the implementation of internal control and internal audit systems of Securities Investment Trust Enterprises.

Te-Hsiang Chen, President of TDCC, stated that TDCC deepens engagement in fund market and provides services such as processing offshore fund declarations, announcements, providing platforms for both onshore and offshore fund transactions, non-physical registration for onshore fund, onshore fund centralized clearing. SITE Services Department will continue assisting the FSC in reviewing fund public offering cases and supervision of market data analysis, as well as auditing the information security operations of the Securities Investment Consulting Enterprises. In the future, SITE Services Department will expand its support to the FSC’s fund supervision, such as auditing and providing guidance on the financial operations and internal audit activities of the Securities Investment Trust Enterprises, revising and updating the internal control system standards for the Securities Investment Trust Enterprises, conducting training for the employees of Securities Investment Trust Enterprises and Securities Investment Consulting Enterprises, and promoting related practices.

TDCC will continue to follow FSC guidance, complete the review of fund-related regulations and internal control and internal audit systems, conduct training for personnel in SITE Services Department, and continue formulating audit regulations, audit handbooks, and other related documents for submission and public announcement. It is expected to begin the audits and guidance for Securities Investment Trust Enterprises in the third quarter of 2025. TDCC, serving as a bridge between the FSC, Securities Investment Trust Enterprises, Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Association, and investors, will continue to assist the FSC in fund market supervision, protect investors' rights, and promote a fund market that ensures both safety and development.
