Assisting Recovery and Reconstruction-TDCC Hosts Joint Concert of Hualien Seven Schools

2025/12/15

The seven elementary schools in Hualien, which have been long-standing sponsored by TDCC, hosted the "TDCC Together, Happiness Resonates " joint music concert at the Hualien County Indigenous Museum on December 12. The children from the seven schools performed an impressive array of songs and dances, showcasing their diverse talents and leaving over 500 audience members deeply moved.

TDCC Chairman Bing-Huei Lin, noted that the landslide-induced damming disaster at the Matai’an River in Hualien in September had caused severe damage. In addition to offering financial donations for disaster relief, TDCC’s employees also volunteered during their time off, donning rain boots and grabbing shovels to lend a hand in helping the Hualien communities recover. This joint concert was a vivid demonstration of Hualien's recovery and vitality, while also promoting the region's rich tourism resources. TDCC will continue to assist in reconstruction efforts, helping to ensure a brighter future for the children of Hualien.

The joint music concert featured performances from Tai Chang, Bei Chang, Zhong Hua, Ji An, Jian Ching, Xi Kou, and Feng Lin elementary schools. The students took turns on stage, presenting diverse performances that showcased their training, including instrumental music, hip-hop, and flamenco dancing. The grand finale had all performers and audience members singing "Tomorrow Will Be Better" together, with beautiful voices and a heartfelt atmosphere, bringing an unforgettable end to the joint concert.

TDCC actively implements the policy of financial social giving, fulfilling its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) responsibilities. For over ten years, it has contributed resources for disaster relief, tutoring, music, and sports, supporting holistic education at grassroots schools. Its efforts aim to narrow the urban-rural divide and promote sustainable development.
