This year, 445 students from 30 colleges and universities are participating in the Program. Dr. Yen-Liang Chen stated that the financial industry is built on trust and talent and also carries a responsibility for the nation and the future of young people. The TDCC Financial Literacy for Youth Program is a concrete practice of Trustworthy Finance. By combining financial education with employment empowerment, the Program helps students strengthen their financial expertise and enhance their employment competitiveness. He encouraged the students to make good use of the Program’s abundant resources and diverse tools, build a solid foundation for their career development, and contribute what they learn to society, thereby creating a positive cycle.

Facing the rapid changes of the AI era, Dr. Bing-Huei Lin, Chairman of TDCC, quoted NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang: “Run, don’t walk. Remember, either you’re running for food, or you are running from becoming food.” Through comprehensive course planning, professional certification guidance, and systematic learning, he hopes to strengthen the students’ financial knowledge and practical skills, help them overcome the limitations of their circumstances, and encourage them to seize the opportunities brought by AI transformation, keep pace with change, and create a brighter future.

Dr. Bing-Huei Lin expressed gratitude for the joint sponsorship of organizations including the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taiwan Futures Exchange, Taipei Exchange, Financial Information Service Co., Joint Credit Information Center, and Taiwan-CA Inc, among others. These organizations have long worked together to promote financial education and talent development, building a support network for young people from learning to employment.

The 2026 Academic Year TDCC Financial Literacy for Youth Program will run from September 2026 to March 2027, with classes held on weekends, totaling 170 hours. The Program provides students with support in two areas: peace of mind in learning and employment preparation. It helps reduce the financial burden on their families and establishes various learning and employment incentive mechanisms to encourage students to complete the Program, obtain professional certifications, and make a smooth transition into the financial industry.

TDCC has long been committed to building Trustworthy Finance by continuously promoting financial education and caring for disadvantaged groups. Since the 2015 academic year, TDCC has worked with financial institutions and colleges and universities to organize the Program for financially disadvantaged college students. To date, the Program has cultivated thousands of financial professionals who are working diligently in various sectors of the financial industry, fulfilling its vision of “Transforming Lives and Realizing Dreams through Finance.”
