Taiwan Stock Museum Launches TISA Section in Fund-Themed Exhibition to Promote Inclusive Finance

2025/07/14

In response to the official launch of the Taiwan Individual Savings Account (TISA) on June 30, 2025, the Taiwan Stock Museum, established by the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC), has added a dedicated “TISA Section” to its fund-themed exhibition. This new section introduces the TISA policy and its features, aiming to help the public embrace the TISA trend and build sound financial management habits early on.

TDCC Chairman Bing-Huei Lin stated that, in order to encourage the public to engage in disciplined medium to long-term investment earlier, TDCC has specifically developed the TISA account system and an online TISA account inquiry platform. The initial phase of investment products focuses on carefully selected domestic funds, designed to diversify risk and lower the threshold for systematic investing. With just NT$1,000 per month, investors can enjoy benefits such as low management fees and a lifetime waiver of subscription fees. In the future, TISA-eligible investment products will expand in line with government policy to include more diverse financial instruments, making TISA a lifelong financial planning tool accessible to all citizens.

To further promote inclusive finance, TDCC established Taiwan’s first and only Taiwan Stock Museum in 2012, where it regularly hosts special exhibitions to educate the public on various financial products. These efforts aim to increase financial literacy and help individuals better understand product features and risks. The museum has become a top choice for educational visits from organizations of all types. This year’s newly launched fund-themed exhibition has received enthusiastic feedback. Through digital videos and interactive games, the exhibit presents key topics such as the features of mutual funds, basic knowledge, information inquiry, and purchasing channels—all in a fun and engaging way. The museum welcomes everyone to visit and take part in fostering nationwide financial literacy.
