Dr. Yen-Liang Chen emphasized that the TDCC Financial Literacy for Youth Program continuously reviews and adjusts its curriculum each year to reflect market demands, combining theory with practice to enhance participants’ competitiveness. He encouraged the students to make full use of this opportunity to strengthen self-worth, give back to society with what they have learned, and create a positive cycle that contributes to the sustainable development of the financial industry.
According to Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, Executive Yuan, in 2024 the financial and insurance industry ranked first among all industries in terms of average monthly salary, exceeding NT$107,000, making it an ideal career goal for many fresh graduates. Over the past 11 years, a total of 3,961 students have successfully completed the program, collectively obtaining nearly 14,000 certifications in areas such as finance, information technology, sustainability, and foreign languages. In addition, the program has facilitated employment opportunities for over 1,500 students, with more than 75% of them successfully entering the financial industry and realizing their dreams.
Dr. Bing-Huei Lin expressed gratitude to Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taiwan Futures Exchange, Taipei Exchange, Financial Information Service Co., Joint Credit Information Center, and TAIWAN-CA Inc. for the joint sponsorship in creating a comprehensive talent development pathway in finance, empowering students with professional financial knowledge and the courage to pursue their dreams.
The 2025 Academic Year TDCC Financial Literacy for Youth Program will run from September 2025 to March 2026, with classes held on weekends, totaling 170 hours.
