To help address urgent blood shortages, the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) held its annual charity blood drive on December 24. Marking 16 consecutive years of this initiative, the event rallied employees to donate blood and take concrete action to bolster Taiwan’s medical emergency capacity.
TDCC Chairman Bing-Huei Lin stated that during major emergencies, maintaining a sufficient blood supply is critical for life-saving medical interventions. He emphasized that everyone can play a role in building a comprehensive emergency network: "By simply extending your arm to donate, you become a hero."
