Taiwan's securities investment education is leveling up! The Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) is launching a brand-new Youth Financial Education Platform called " e本證金，投投是道" on its ePassbook App. Starting October 1, the first phase challenge named “Securities, Seriously?” begins, in partnership with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), the Taipei Exchange (TPEx), and the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX), inviting young people aged 18 to 35 to master securities and finance knowledge through fun quiz challenges, build sound investment and financial concepts, and boost their financial literacy.

Cultivating Youth Financial Literacy, Building Trust in Finance

TDCC Chairman Bing-Huei Lin said that in response to the “Youth Basic Act” and the Financial Supervisory Commission's (FSC) “Guidelines for the Financial Sector on Deepening Social Trust and Giving Back to Society”, TDCC has launched the ePassbook App " e本證金，投投是道" Financial Education Platform. Through interactive quiz games, young people can accumulate investment and financial knowledge as they complete challenges, while TDCC works together with securities-related institutions to bring in diverse learning resources, jointly building a smart financial learning hub for the securities and futures industry. This actively cultivates young talent, integrates financial education for the general public, and puts the concept of “Trustworthy Finance” into practice.

Four-Stage Challenge Relay — Complete Challanges to Win Great Prizes

The ePassbook App " e本證金，投投是道" Financial Education Platform will host a one-year, four-stage knowledge challenge open to TDCC's roughly 1.8 million young ePassbook App users. Anyone who completes the challenge tasks during the campaign period will earn eligibility for a prize drawing. At the end of each stage, 3,000 winners will be drawn from among the investors who completed the challenge, each receiving a NT$100 convenience store e-voucher. Across all four stages, a total of 12,000 gifts will be given away.

A One-Stop Learning Portal — Track Your Assets and Truly Understand Them

The ePassbook App " e本證金，投投是道" Financial Education Platform not only guides young people to learn financial knowledge through fun, interactive formats, but also integrates rich resources such as the TWSE's "Learning at Home" website, TPEx's financial education platform, and TAIFEX's "Futures and Options Learning Website," creating a dual-themed learning hub covering both securities investment and financial knowledge. Through the ePassbook App, young users can get a consolidated overview of their own securities, fund, and bank assets, then use the Financial Education Platform to learn how to analyze their assets and plan their finances — upgrading from simply "seeing your assets" to "understanding and managing your assets well."
